- I seem to have this strange problem when playing audio stuff on my Ami
- lately. These seemingly random electronic 'chirps' end up in the audio
- output. I didn't used to have this problem, and would like to fix it
- (it's annoying!). I tried it under various HW/SW situations as well.
-
- Heres what I have:
-
- Amiga2000 (rev 4.3 motherboard)
- A2630 card (25mhz 030/882/4 megs 32 bit) (also tried with 68010)
- GVP SeriesII HD crontroller with 100 meg quantum drive and a ZIP drive
- attached to it
- Multi Face 3 multi-port card
- GVP Spectrum 24 bit gfx card
- 2 dd disk drives
- Bigfoot2000 powersupply (it's not a problem with not getting enough power ;o)
-
- Software:
- OS 3.1 (also tried on 2.x)
- CyberGfx (also tried without)
- Hippoplayer (also tried with DeliTracker/other players)
-
- My system is also connection to my Stereo system via RCA cables (it's a
- small desktop Koss system, and yea it's not the best, but I don't have
- any problem with any other audio source with it).
-
- It's definitely a HW setup problem, as I tried it rebooting my Ami
- without a startup sequence, so only the modplayer was running.
-
- Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
